We’ve Made It Simple to Send Us What We Need

You don’t need to know what equipment or system size you need. Just provide the basic information below and we’ll review the details from there.

1

Your Basic Information

Tell us about the property, whether you own it, whether there is an HOA, and whether you’re considering solar, battery storage, or both.

2

Your Electric Bill

A complete recent electric bill helps us review your utility, rate structure, electricity usage, and the amount of energy your home currently consumes.

3

A Few Property Photos

Photos help us understand your electrical service, possible equipment locations, property access, and general site conditions before we begin our review.

Why Do We Ask for This Information?

We believe in analyzing first and recommending second. Your energy usage, roof and property conditions, electrical service, utility, battery goals, and payment preferences can all affect the right solar solution. Having this information up front helps us prepare a more meaningful review instead of guessing.

Payment Options

Whether you plan to pay cash or finance the project, we’ll use your preference to help prepare the appropriate solar options for your review.

Financing & Your Privacy

If you choose to finance your solar project, the financing option we recommend for your project will be identified as part of your solar proposal and contract.

Once you decide to move forward and approve the project, Proactive Energy Solutions will send you the appropriate financing application link so you can apply directly with that financing provider.

You are always free to explore other financing options on your own if you prefer.

Proactive Energy Solutions does not receive or review your credit application, credit report, income information, or other private financial details. The financing provider handles that process directly with you.

Once the financing decision is made, you and the EPC are notified of the approval or denial needed to move the project forward. Financing approval is required before a financed project can proceed.

Cash Payments & Project Milestones

Cash-payment requirements vary by EPC and project agreement. Some EPCs may require the full contract amount to be funded upfront, while others allow payments to be made as predetermined project milestones become due.

The payment schedule and project milestones are disclosed in your contract before you move forward.

When an escrow or payment-control account is used, funds are released to the EPC according to the agreed project milestones and any applicable homeowner approvals.

What is an EPC?

EPC stands for Engineering, Procurement and Construction. The EPC is the company responsible for the engineering, equipment procurement, permitting, installation, construction, and other project-execution responsibilities associated with your solar installation.

California cancellation rights: Residential solar contracts generally include a cancellation period after signing. In many cases, homeowners have at least three business days to cancel, and customers age 65 or older generally have five business days. Your actual cancellation rights, payment terms, milestone schedule, and financing terms will be stated in your contract and related documents.
You Don’t Have to Have Everything Perfect

If you don’t have every optional photo or document available right now, submit what you have. If we need anything else to complete the review, we can follow up with you directly.

Send Us Your Solar Information

Complete the form below and upload the documents and photos that apply to your property. Once submitted, your information will go directly into our system for review.

What Happens After You Submit? We’ll review the information you provide. If anything is missing, we may contact you by text or email. Once we have what we need, we can begin evaluating the solar and battery options that make sense for your property.
